Fine Art Prints Extra Information

My prints are printed by dStudio, one of the UK’s top fine art printers. They have used the GICLEE process on the superlative Hahnemühle Hemp paper to produce the finest quality prints of my paintings.

I offer both limited edition and open edition prints to give a range of sizes and prices.
Sizes and Editions

Larger and Medium Sized Paintings

For my larger and medium sized paintings (over 12"x 12" / 30cm x30cm), I offer both a full size limited edition and a smaller (10” x 8” /25.4cm x 20.3cm ) open edition.

Full Size Limited Edition:

An exclusive limited print edition. This is a full size reproduction of the original painting with a small border.

The print run on the full size limited editions is only 25 prints, so it will be a truly collectible piece.

(Once these are gone, the only further fine art print reproductions that will be made are the smaller open edition version of the piece.)

Each limited edition piece will be hand signed and numbered in pencil individually by me.

Print numbers 2 - 24 are normally allocated in order of sale. The first and last prints (Nos 1 and 25) will be available separately at a later date.

Open Edition:

This is a smaller print on a 10” x 8” sheet (including an internal border).

Being a smaller size and open edition print, this is a more affordable way to own a copy of these pieces.

It uses the same high quality conservation grade printing processes and paper as the limited edition, so the print quality is still to the same excellent standards.

The 10” x 8” size is a widely available ‘off the shelf’ frame size too, which makes it easy and economical to find a frame of your choice for hanging at home.

Smaller paintings

My smaller pieces (under 12"x 12" / 30cm x30cm) are only available in an open edition format.

These are full size prints of the original painting with a small border.

These use the same high quality conservation grade printing processes and paper as the print edition for the larger and medium sized paintings, so the print quality is still to the same excellent standards.

Papers and Printing Process:

Extensive work has gone into colour matching the prints, giving as close a reproduction as possible of the original painting. The printing is remarkable and gives the incredible quality that I want to bring life to the reproduction of my art in print form.

dStudio are a Fine Art Trade Guild member, and multi-award winning and carbon neutral printer.

Hahnemühle Hemp paper (290 gsm) is a superb eco friendly Hemp (60%) and cotton (40%) blend from this renowned specialist paper manufacturer. Colour and detail are reproduced brilliantly on this fine art paper. It is museum archival quality for high age resistance, and free of acid, lignin and OBAs. Hemp is a very low resource using plant, making the paper much more eco friendly than conventional high quality print papers.
