Railways
Original Steam Railway Oil paintings currently available for sale.
Like a lot of children, I loved steam engines. Like a lot of adults, I guess that never really went away! I have a particular love of many of the Southern Railway engines, which has tended to influence my choice of subjects. There is however, so much else about railways, not just the rolling stock, that fascinates me, so I usually try to include this surrounding interest and atmosphere in my 'Railway' paintings. (Even if its often the Locomotives that still end up stealing the show!)
